After successful testing and removal of the old night storage heaters, it is now time to install the new AeroFlow® heaters at the Hase family home.
The assembly is quick and uncomplicated: Unpack, mount the feet, set up the radiator, ready. The 230 V sockets that were still missing during the expansion were installed by an electrician during the summer months. For this purpose, the existing power connection from the night storage heaters was simply “reconnected” to 230 volts. The old wires now end in a standard Schuko socket above the baseboards.
The plan is to control the new AeroFlow® fleet smartly via cell phone. For this purpose, the Hase family ordered the FlexiSmart Internet module for their FlexiSmart heaters. This is powered with the included power supply and connected to the router via network cable. With the push of a button on the back of the Internet module, the smartphone was also already paired with the free AeroFlow app from Google Play (also available for Apple iOS).
Now the new electric heaters have to get acquainted with the intermodule. To do this, Mr. Rabbit creates a new “zone” in the app – preferably one for each room. After that, you add to the zone, for example. “Kitchen”, add the heaters. To do this, click on “Add” in the zone you have just created, go to the radiator and select “Pair gateway” in the settings of the labeled controller menu. The app and the heater are now known to each other.
Setting up the heating plans using the app takes just a few minutes. Also an absence, the adjustment of the temperature correction as well as monitoring of the frost protection temperature and the window open sensor can be easily edited in the zone settings.
The possible vacation mode, the boost function, as well as the possibility to conveniently control the heaters while on the move, also provide a high level of comfort.
The Hase family is now looking forward to the slightly cooler temperatures and the practical use of the AeroFlow® heaters.
