We play it safe with the quality of our heaters
for the longevity and high value retention of the AeroFlow® electric heaters
The functional warranty of 30 years on the heating element includes the elements of heating stones, thermoswitch and cable. The functional warranty on the body of the radiator includes the durability of all riveted joints, welds and the materials used. The functional warranty on the carcass does not include normal aging processes of the coating and damage due to external influence or improper use. In the event of a complaint, an on-site repair may be made or a complete replacement of the radiator may be necessary. The manufacturer’s warranty for thermostats and controllers is 2 years. In the event of a complaint, the modular design allows the side panel to be replaced.
Our warranty terms and conditions govern the additional warranty services that are provided in addition to the customer’s statutory warranty claims.
The manufacturer’s warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. It expires when the heater is resold. The start of the warranty period is the date of purchase, i.e. the date listed on the invoice.
Warranty service is provided if a manufacturing and/or material defect occurs in our heaters and accessories during the warranty period. Within the warranty period, we will remedy free of charge any functional defects that can be proven to be due to material defects or poor workmanship. Our warranty includes free replacement of defective parts and free spare parts during the warranty period.
We are only liable if the function of the heater is impaired and the defect was not caused by negligent, intentional or improper handling, use of force, transport, misuse, connection to incorrect mains voltages, failure to observe the proper operating or installation instructions, improper cleaning or corrosion damage caused by aggressive water, chemical and/or electrochemical effects or normal wear and tear.
The warranty is void if the device has been tampered with or attempted to be repaired by anyone not authorized by us. Please note that disassembly of the heater by the customer or by third parties is generally not permitted.
There is no warranty claim in case of non-compliance.
The possible replacement of the modular heater side part (e.g. when changing the control technology) and/or the possible shortening of the connection cable (e.g. when removing the Schuko plug for the purpose of conditionally establishing a fixed connection) does not lead to a loss of warranty, insofar as – beyond the necessary extent of the change to be made – no interference with or manipulation of electronic components takes place and the correspondingly permitted work is carried out by a qualified specialist.
Warranty service includes careful inspection of the heater or accessories, first determining whether a warranty claim exists. In the event of a warranty claim, we alone decide how the fault will be rectified. We are free to replace or repair a heater or accessory. During the warranty period, we will pay all material, assembly and transportation costs within the scope of this warranty.
Over and above the warranty service promised above, the end customer may not make any claims under this warranty for indirect or consequential damage caused by the device, in particular for compensation for damage occurring outside the device.
Complaints are always handled by the dealer from whom the radiator was purchased. The complaint must be made in writing using the complaint form. If no online form is available, other written means of transmission may be used. Only in the case that the dealer has terminated its business activity, the manufacturer takes over the warranty processing on the direct way. In this case, please send a complaint to firstname.lastname@example.org, company THERMOTEC AG, Arnsdorf 26, 02894 Vierkirchen. We will then send you a claim form and process the claim.
The seller / dealer decides on the settlement, namely the return or replacement of the side part with thermostat, the return or replacement of the complete radiator or repair on site. In the case of returns, all shipping costs will be covered, but not any disassembly and assembly costs at the customer’s premises.
All Thermotec electric heaters go through several quality controls during production. By checking individual production steps, quality fluctuations are to be reduced to a minimum.
