The following ports must be open to ensure secure communication between the heating system, server, and app:

An installation groups thermostats into rooms. This allows you to manage different properties, such as home, office, or vacation rental.
You can create a maximum of 4 installations in the app.
The temperature sensor measures room temperature, and when it drops (as with an open window), the heating turns off.
If the temperature in a room falls by more than 5°C within a 30-minute period, the heating is turned off for up to 30 minutes (waiting period). If the temperature rises by more than 1°C within these 30 minutes or if the waiting period expires, the heating is turned back on (return to normal operation). After this, a 30-minute “lock” takes effect. Once this lock period expires, the detection process restarts.
Click on “Select validity” and choose the desired validity.
You can restrict the maximum adjustable temperature. This also limits the maximum temperature that can be set directly on the thermostat.
To limit the maximum adjustable room temperature, follow these steps:

This feature allows users to share their installations with other users. By sharing, you can grant others access to control your heating system without sharing your account login details. You can assign individual read and write permissions to other users.
Important: The invitation can only be sent to email addresses already registered in the SmartHeat4U app. This means the person you want to share the installation with must first install the app and register with an email address.
To share an installation, simply go to the settings in the app and select the “Shared Access” option.
Enter the email address of the user you want to share the installation with. Then, select the desired installation and click “Send.” The other user will receive a notification in the app that you have shared an installation with them.
Yes, you can revoke shared access at any time. Simply go to the settings in the app and select the “Shared Access” option. Click on the trash can icon next to the installation you want to stop sharing. This will remove access for the other user, and they will no longer be able to access the installation.
The new user has the ability to perform various actions in the shared installation, including:
Each of these options can be shared separately, so you can control exactly which actions the other user is allowed to perform.
Account Sharing is recommended if you want to share the installation with other people but still limit editing capabilities, such as with employees or vacation rental tenants. In these cases, Account Sharing is a useful option. However, if you are considering sharing the installation with people you live with, it might be a better solution to share your account login details with them so they can log in directly on their devices.
