1. Manual control

Based on the function of the classic dial control, you set the desired room temperature directly on the radiator. The built-in temperature sensor switches off the heating after reaching the target temperature.

2. Creating a heating schedule on the device
An integrated programmable digital thermostat allows convenient and efficient control of your surface storage heater without setup effort. Set a desired comfort temperature, setback temperature or even frost protection for one or more days of the week. This way, you can individually adjust the switching times of the heating to your personal daily routine and enjoy heating comfort of a special kind.

3. App control
The built in thermostat can be extended with a gateway, which can be paired to the router. This additionally enables control via smartphone and tablet with the help of a free app.

4. Control with Amazon Alexa
In order to control the AeroFlow® surface storage heater with Amazon Alexa, it is important to have an heater with FlexiSmart or FlexiComfortApp, an Amazon Echo, a smartphone with the Alexa app and an access point. The access point is a base station that connects to your router and then to the termostat via the Alexa app. Once the heaters are set up, they can be controlled with Amazon´s advanced voice commands.

An extremely convenient way of controlling the radiator is to control it using a radio-controlled thermostat. Unlike FlexiSmart, the FlexiComfortApp system enables you to control one or more radiators within a temperature zone - for example, kitchen, dining room and living room - by a radio-controlled thermostat placed on the wall. The thermostat can be set manually to the desired temperature or it can work according to an individual schedule created based on your habits. With the additional TYDOM module the thermostat can also be paired to your router and then operated conveniently from a mobile phone or tablet.

The wireless room thermostat displays the actual room temperature on a large screen which enables you to control your heaters wirelessly. With simple +/- settings as well as programmable daily or weekly settings, the AeroFlow® electric heater with wireless thermostat fits perfectly into your everyday life.

Integration of smart solutions for economical electric heaters

Today’s equipment of new or modernised old buildings should be durable, energy-efficient, user-friendly and also economical. Due to these requirements, a constantly growing market for technically supported living solutions is being established. They can be gathered under the term of Smart Home, which give added value when energy saving or comfort is improved. One of the most favourite applications of Smart Home is, for example, the automatic reduction of indoor temperatures during a period of absence, combined with the activation of radiators shortly before returning home. This effective approach can bring significant savings on heating costs during the year.

Each AeroFlow® heater is equipped with a Smart Home capable controller type at delivery. For the use, a gateway is also required, which connects the router in the house with the heaters - the appropriate app for this is available free of charge in the Google Playstore or the App Store.

Other setting capabilities, such as the open window sensor, the vacation mode or the freeze protection, support the user with the energy-efficient setting of the heater.
